What is the difference between a paperless recorder and a digital display

In the instrumentation industry, there are two types of instruments based on different screens. We all know that there are instruments with digital displays, and another type is instruments with liquid crystal displays.

1. The digital display instrument displays on-site data and sends signals to other instruments for control. The paperless recorder records all data on this basis.

2. Storage: Digital display devices do not need to have storage functions, such as common digital multimeters; But paperless recorders must have storage functions.

3. Display: Digital display devices are generally LCD or LED digital displays, and some high-end models have LCD graphic displays; But paperless recorders usually come with graphic LCDs or even color graphic LCDs.

4. Communication and software: Digital display devices generally do not have ports and software for communicating with computers, and some high-end models may have this function; But paperless recorders generally have this function.
